3D Printing making waves in Creativity and Technology

3D printing since its Inception has been making ways in both technology and creativity amongst artists and engineers. 3D printing came from using just simple regular Plastics to using harder sturdier material or even better yet organic material.

It's incredible to think that movies from back in 1950s and forward or showcased technologies that in today's world is commonplace. 3D printing was something that was only seen in a sci-fi film. To be able to replicate objects through printing it without having to go to a store to go and purchase it was rather creative and highly convenient. My favorite movie is Back to the Future, and part 2 is my most favorite. As when Marty went to his future home there were so many Technologies that we don't have today. Such as taking a dehydrated Pizza putting it in a hydrator and then it grows in size. We can dehydrate but we cannot make it in large itself not yet anyways. Or better yet The Fifth Element, where 3D printing was kind of shown but using mesh wiring to recreate Limbs and weapons.

Engineers have been able to recreate many different things using 3D printers. People have been able to recreate custom computer parts when needed, and even car parts using harder and sturdier material that can withstand the heat that cars produce. It is becoming commonplace and is the way of the future. Want to figurine that you may not be able to afford because it's too expensive why not 3D print it? Need a car part that might be out of stock or may not be in circulation why not 3D print it? Due to so many creators taking 3D printing classes, and courses creating objects that they need in their current time they can also share that with many people across the world either free of charge or for a small fee if that. 3D printing is getting so big to wear bigger corporations are basically 3D printing housing. Using a large 3D printer can print out cement blocks and create housing within a few months.

3D printers are also being used in the medical field, able to print out organic materials like skin, organs or organic parts to help them function. Like recreating veins and even valves for hearts. This will be making waves in the industry as not everyone can get a donor for what they need. To be able to recreate parts for a specific person the 3D printing can save multiple lives in the future if not now. It also help create prosthetics for those who lost limbs. 3D printing material can be costly but there are other alternative ways in order to get a harder type of material using cheaper materials. Instead of using just regular Plastics we do have 3D printers now that use resin instead. Those tend to be more costly but you get a smoother even finish with those type of printers. 3D printers can hold immense detail, which if using a 3D printer you may want to start learning 3D sculpting programs in order to make your own things especially if you're an artist.

3D printing is a remarkable piece of technology. It is one of the best Technologies I am happy to witness within my time. Technology has been advancing far faster than we've ever experienced, to finally having more virtual reality experiences to now being able to 3D print whatever we want. The future really is here and I cannot wait to see what else 3D printing can bring us to further the future.
